Mark Todd posts second winner

Shinko King three-year-old filly Chatwin, trained by Mark Todd, made a great start to her racing career by taking out the Paper Plus Toyworld for maiden three-year-olds at today's Waipa meeting.

It was the second training success recorded by former equestrian great Todd.

His first winner came at the Counties meeting last month when Bramble Rose scored an impressive win.

Chatwin is raced by Todd in partnership with Ray Knight who stands Shinko King at his Ashwell Farm stud at Cambridge.

Shinko King had a stakes placegetter at Riccarton on Saturday with Eternal Melody running a brave second in the Listed Ford Welcome Stakes.
